BIOGRAPHY

My first glimpse into the world of interior design was a summer internship in Manhattan with Mica Ertegun’s interior design firm, MAC II. The projects and clientele were eye opening, but the most intriguing part was Mica Ertegun. In her 90’s, she continues to run one of the preeminent interior design firms in the field. It was inspiring to see interior design in the light of a lifelong pursuit, not just a profession.

I returned home to San Francisco and honed my design and project management skills under the mentorship of several prominent designers. I still enjoy a longstanding consulting relationship with Lorissa Kimm, Architect. The majority of my 15 years of experience has been focused on bespoke residential interior design, but I have also worked on hospitality projects with Lorissa Kimm including Ventana Inn & Spa in Big Sur, Sea Ranch Lodge in The Sea Ranch, and the development of a boutique hotel concept in Menlo Park.

I am a fourth generation San Francisco Bay Area native. I grew up in Marin County and received a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley and completed U.C. Berkeley’s Interior Design and Interior Architecture program. I live in Petaluma with my husband and our two daughters.
