BIOGRAPHY

My first glimpse into the world of interior design was a summer internship in Manhattan with Mica Ertegun’s interior design firm, MAC II. In her 90’s, she continued to run one of the preeminent interior design firms in the field. It was inspiring to see interior design in the light of a lifelong pursuit, not just a profession. Likewise, I became passionate about interior design. Even to this day, I find it inspiring, ever changing, and always challenging. I love working with clients through the entire process of reimagining their spaces and creating their “forever home.”

Early in my career, I was mentored by San Francisco designers James Marzo and Barbara Scavullo who immersed me in the world of fine antiques, local artisans, and custom furniture and millwork design. I had the opportunity to work on numerous large residences honing my technical and project management skills in addition to design. Subsequently, I consulted for notable architecture and interior design firms engaged on luxury residential projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Montana, Vermont, Connecticut, New York, Hawaii, London and the renovation of a winery in Yountville. My 20 years of experience has been focused on bespoke residential interior design, but I have also worked on hospitality projects with Lorissa Kimm, Architect including Ventana Inn & Spa in Big Sur, Sea Ranch Lodge in The Sea Ranch, and the development of a boutique hotel concept in Menlo Park.

I am a fourth generation San Francisco Bay Area native. I grew up in Marin County and received a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of California, Berkeley and completed U.C. Berkeley’s Interior Design and Interior Architecture program. I now call Petaluma home and bring the culmination of this experience to local residential projects in Marin and Sonoma County.
