A Guest Bedroom and Primary Suite remodel created a bright sophisticated retreat featuring traditional design elements with a nod to the client’s French heritage.

Key details included the addition of a separate Water Closet at the Primary Suite with a built-in niche for toilet paper storage. The luxurious little room was bordered in a base board of calacatta marble. The floor integrated a mosaic marble field bordered in a band of calacatta marble warmed with radiant heat. The room also housed a beautiful heated towel warmer.

Custom fleurs-de-lys medallions were carved for each shower and surrounded by subway tile water jet to perfectly contour to the marble accents. The fleur-de-lys motif was further integrated through the design in custom vent covers and at the inset panel in the built-in wall niche.

The Dressing Room incorporated a series of mirrored paneled doors providing better access to the closets and underutilized space at the corner of the L-shaped closets was recaptured creating a coffee bar with under counter refrigerator accessed from the Primary Bedroom.
